The May Day Parade ends up in Fort Langley Community Park which is off of Trattle (behind the Fine Arts School) and west of the cemetary off of Glover Road.
The event in the park runs from noon through until 4:00 pm. There will be such things as May Queens speeches, Maypole dancing from 1 or 2 schools in the area and numerous vendors selling their wares. Mini Golf will be at the park as well as rides for the children (weather dependent) and food vendors to tempt the palate.
If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact ftlangleymayday@gmail.com
More details will follow as we get closer to the event!
Our home page now shows the road closures… thanks for your suggestion
Hi there. Will I still be able to take transit there? Does the mini golf and food cost and the rides?
Hi there. Yes there is transit to Fort Langley. There is a cost for the mini golf, rides and food.
If it is raining, the rides will not be able to set up because of their equipment.
Good afternoon,
I was just wondering if the parade will continue if it rains? Will postponements be posted on your website?
Thanks!
The parade goes rain or shine!
Hope to see you there!
How do you socially distance with rides , Mini golf & bbq – did you think this through ?
