On May 23rd, 2022, we will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of May Day in Fort Langley!
We are planning to have a bigger and better parade which kicks off at 11:00. The parade will start on Mavis Avenue and then head south on Glover Road down to 88th Avenue. At 88th it will turn west and go to Trattle St. At Trattle, the parade will turn north and go to St. Andrews, at which time the parade participants will disperse by either entering the park or exiting West via Wright or Trattle St.
Our Event in the Park runs from 12:00 – 7:30. Park events will include speeches from the May Queen and dignitaries, May Pole Dancing, various cottage and commercial vendors, food, as well as activities for the kids. There will also be FREE ENTERTAINMENT ON THE SPIRIT STAGE.
The day sets up like this:
8:00 – 10:30 at the Lions Hall
(88 Ave & Glover)
Lions Pancake Breakfast – $6.00 each
(cash only please)
11:00 – 1:00
